While adjacent to a historic town green, the Norwalk Inn is only one-quarter of a mile
from both an active Metro-North station and the I-95 highway; we would be easily
found even without East Avenue’s landmark sign.
Only two years ago the Inn underwent a complete, multi-million dollar renovation
under the direction of acclaimed architect Jozsef Solta; our lobby now features
Indian granite floors, mahogany woodwork, a coffered rosetta ceiling, leather couches,
an antique Persian rug, and covert light coves.
At the front desk our guests can ask about our 24/7 laundry service, free luggage
storage, and free internet printing. For the sake of hospitality, we also set out
daily-baked cookies (or candies) and today’s newspaper, along with freshly-cut
flowers.
Adam’s Rib has been a Norwalk institution for more than 50 years, but both its
function & look are completely contemporary. The full-service restaurant presents a
Metro-style layout featuring Veneziano granite floors, a fully functional fireplace . . .
. . . maple wood wainscoting, crowning woodwork, torchlight ornamentation . . .
. . . and a beautiful painting-mural representing the Long Island Sound.
In our cocktail lounge guests might find Brazilian granite table tops, cherrywood
flooring, polished birch furniture, maple wall paneling, Venetian plaster walls, and
antique art prints. We also have two high-definition LCD television screens, one with
a 50” screen and the other with a 42”; the TV’s make Yankee wins look better
than ever.
Larger groups also utilize the area for their gatherings. The patio’s fixed-frame
structure and available heaters work to moderate outside elements while still welcoming
the fresh air and sunshine.

Those dining in the cocktail lounge can peer out to an adjoining flower garden and
a mini-aquarium that’s home to some very large goldfish.
The patio next to the cocktail lounge is shielded by a high canopy and bordered by
carefully-maintained gardens consisting of various begonias, petunias, and impatiens.
During the warmer months, the patio’s a favorite lunch spot.
The patio’s attractive enough to host wedding receptions, too.
Our kidney-shaped pool measures about 35’ x 20’ and reaches a kid-friendly depth of
no more than 9’.
The pool area boasts a white picket fence and greenery like climbing ivy and sunflowers.
Like the patio, it’s idyllic enough to draw wedding ceremonies.
Guests have been known to enjoy a poolside drink and sunbathing session, too.
The Norwalk Inn features several types of accommodations among its
72 newly-renovated rooms. The ‘deluxe king’ suites come complete with
hardwood floors, authentic Persian rugs, large work stations, and sitting areas.
The ‘one king’ suite delivers a large bed and work stations in a more mid-sized room.
Like all other rooms, it features 80 channels of cable television and irons & ironing boards.
The ‘two queen’ accommodation is especially popular with families on vacation.
Each of our spotless bathrooms feature heavy cotton towels, a free hair dryer . . .
. . . and ‘Natura’-brand toiletries.
For the benefit of our business travelers, all rooms feature various free amenities.
For instance, we have no-codeword wireless internet access, data-port telephones, and radio alarm clocks.
Other room amenities include refrigerators, free bottled waters, . . .
. . . and free ice buckets.
For those venturing out of their rooms and into our conference rooms,
the Norwalk Inn boasts over 4,000+ square feet of function space. We can
support conferences for up to 475 with in-house audio / visual equipment
including film projectors, remote phone connections, and microphones.
The Norwalk Inn maintains one of the most celebrated celebration spaces in
Fairfield County. Our main banquet hall features Rosso marble set out in a
‘starburst’ pattern, and around that distinctive centerpiece guests will find a
custom-built brass chandelier, Florentine rugs, Empire-style lighting fixtures,
Verona wall paneling, raised-pattern wallpapering . . .
. . . and a fully stocked bar.
The event halls have enough room to comfortably accommodate up to 275 guests . . .
. . . while remaining adaptable enough to host relatively small parties. This particular
room was set up for a bride and groom ceremony celebration.
We’re proud of working with our clients to custom-create celebrations . . .
. . . in whatever beautiful design . . .
. . . our clients so choose.
While we have years of experience in setting up classic weddings . . .
. . . we can always adjust table arrangements . . .
. . . and floral patterns as needed.
